The 72th Terms President That Will Carry The Turkish Green Crescent To Its 100th Year Was Elected As Dr. Mücahit Öztürk Consecutively For The Second Time By Unanimous Vote

The 72th Ordinary General Assembly that will carry The Turkish Green Crescent to its 100 year and to its objectives was held in Green Crescent Sepetçiler Pavilion with the participation of the branches and the delegates.

Pr. Dr. Mücahit Öztürk that was eleceted for the first time on 23 May 2015, was elected General President also in the 72th terms consecutively for the second time by unanimous vote. The 72th Ordinary General Assembly meeting of The Turkish Green Crescent which is operating successfully since 1920 to protect the whole society from harmful habits and based upon human dignity and respectability, was held in Sepetçiler Pavilion on Sunday 13th May 2015.

Prof. Dr. Mücahit Öztürk who has continued his presidency for 3 years. was re-elected consecutively for the second time as the General President of The Turkish Green Crescent. The new executive board members were selected as:  Atty Osman Baturhan Dursun, Dr. Mehmet Dinç, Dr. Esra Albayrak, Ahmet Kaan, Hatice Saadet Kalyoncu, Çetin Dönmez, Doç. Dr. Hakan Ertin, Doç. Dr. Azize Nilgün Canel, Mahmud Esad Arar, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Gümüş, Doç. Dr. Emine Ahmetoğlu and  Müşerref Pervin Tuba Durgut.

Prof. Dr. Mücahit Öztürk who specify that since he was selected as 71th terms Green Crescent General President on 23 May 2015, The Turkish Green Crescent continue to improve its institutionalisation by investments on professional substructure and human resources, also emphasize that The Turkish Green Crescent carry the fight against addiction from local to global: During these last 3 years by embracing more our youth and our society we carry out several projects that aimed to protect them from harmful habits. We take care of supporting preventive and protective work of The Turkish Green Crescent by several projects such as rehabilitation.

By caryying our fight against addiction to the 81 province of Turkey and also to the international area. With our works that embrace the vision of being world leading  non-governmental organization in the fight against addiction, we will continue to walk towards a future full of hope with all our volunteer, supporter and family.
