Green Crescent has organized the “Informative Meeting on Addiction Prevention for The Turkish Community” in New York

Green Crescent has organized the "Informative Meeting on Addiction Prevention for The Turkish Community" which was held in the Turkish Consulate General in New York on 13th March.

While the opening speech was delivered by the Turkish Consul General in New York Alper Aktaş, Turkish-American National Steering Committee (TASC) Co-Chair Halil Mutlu, Steve Lee from American Green Crescent, and Green Crescent Consultancy Center (YEDAM) Manager Melike Şimşek also made series of presentations.

Steve Lee from American Green Crescent also referred to the state of addiction in the United states in the meeting in which the fight against addiction was addressed thoroughly. Minister of Family, Labour and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk who has attended the meeting by telephone, stated that within the scope of fighting against addiction approximately 300 thousand people received education with Green Crescent last year;"We are together with every institution of our nation for healthy generations and strong Turkey. As ministry, in this regard, we are committed to conducting studies with Green Crescent."
