Green Crescent Crowned its Work With Turkey Excellence Award

Green Crescent received Turkey Excellence Award given by Turkey Quality Association (KalDer) within the scope of the EFQM Excellence Model. Green Crescent, which has adopted the international business model and methodology, crowned its sustainable approach in combating addiction with an award at its 100th anniversary.
 
Turkey Excellence Award finds its owner with the evaluations made in line with the EFQM Excellence Model. Within the scope of the program, industry leaders who continuously improve their performance and show unquestionably outstanding success by turning strategy into action are awarded.
 
Emphasizing that the Green Crescent is a non-governmental organization working to get everyone from all ages adopt "good and healthy life" habits with a century of experience and projects suitable for the needs of the age, Green Crescent President Prof. Mücahit Öztürk said:
 
“We design all our processes in line with the norms set by international organizations by adopting national and international standards with the aim of excellence. Since 2013, we have carried our "excellence" forward step by step. We started to work in accordance with the EFQM Excellence Model in 2013. We received the Competence in Excellence 3 Stars Certificate in 2015, the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System Certificate and the EFQM Competence in Excellence 5 Stars Certificate in 2019. While doing these, our primary goal was not to get an award. This methodology that we have internalized in every aspect as Green Crescent has earned us the award today.  We are very proud to receive Turkey Excellence Award. We believe that we will crown our achievements with many awards as we continue to work with this approach and model.”
 
Green Crescent crowned its 100th anniversary with the “Excellence Award”.
Stating that this award is also a proof of Green Crescent's meticulous efforts in combating addiction, Öztürk said:
 
“As Green Crescent, we attach great importance to both the struggle against addictions and to pioneering non-governmental organizations, and as a 100 year-old well-established organization, we take steps with the awareness of our responsibilities. When it comes to providing social benefit, we are aware of the importance of creating value for all of our stakeholders, starting from our own team, acting on the basis of sustainability, and shaping the future by assuming leadership in our field. I hope this award we received today will be inspiring and motivating for all institutions in the field of civil society.”
